Yemen Settled An Contract With BHEL On Sunday

Yemen settled an contract with BHEL on Sunday for a USD 392.7 mln power-plant in the Arab country, the Yemeni news-agency Saba mentioned.

The 400megawatt gas powered work in Maarib state is financed by the Saudi Fund-for Development, the Arab Finance for Economic as well as Social Growth, and also the Yemen and Oman governments the agency said.

Yemen mentioned a week ago that Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited had received the bidding for that work, where 7 global firms took part, such as companies from South Korea and Saudi Arabia
