Turkey has welcomed Indian companies to take part 15,000 MegaWatt coal based power factories

The govt stated Turkey has welcomed Indian companies to take part in establishing of the planned 15,000 MegaWatt coal based power factories in that nation.

“Turkey is going to build some 15,000 MegaWatt coal-based power generation factories and they asked for Indian firms to take part in the tenders,” an official report here mentioned.

Coal Minister Sri prakash Jaiswal the person leading an Indian delegation to take part in World_Mining_Congress in Istanbul met Turkey’s Energy and Natural_Resources_Minister Taner Yildiz.

They talked about the energy condition in both the countries, especially in the area of coal mining, the report mentioned.

Mr. Jaiswal also wanted to give technical assistance for improving coal and lignite mines and coal washeries in Turkey.

The report added, “Turkey Energy Minister evinced keen curiosity for technical co-operation with India in coal mining and clean coal technologies.”
