Tata Motors declared starting of its commercial_vehicles assembly factory

Tata Motors declared starting of its more than Rs70 cr commercial_vehicles assembly factory at Rosslyn in South Africa to strengthen its existence in the market.

Constructed over a duration of eighteen months, the plant is extended more than an area of 34,500 square metre. The plant is ownedby TataMotors (SA) (Proprietary), Tata_Motors’ joint venture along with Tata Africa_Holding (Pty).

It’s capable of assembling light, SKD kits, medium as well as heavy commercial_vehicles which range from four tonnes to fifty tonnes, which has an yearly capacity of 3,650 units
