Stocks of state-run oil firms advanced by as much as 6 % on the BSE

Stocks of state-run oil firms advanced by as much as 6 % on the BSE today following the govt reported a increase in fuel rates as a way to simplicity pressure on their margins.

HPCL increased 5.80 % to close at Rs 415.25 on the BSE. In intraday, the scrip increased by 6.87 % to strike a months high of Rs 419.50. BPCL completed 4.62 percent upward at Rs 663.70. In intraday, the share attained 8.29 percent to hint a month’s higher of Rs 687.
