Stationery maker Camlin is intending to broaden its product portfolio

Stationery maker Camlin is intending to broaden its product portfolio mainly in writing equipment, art as well as stationary segments via the Japanese firm Kokuyo Co that currently acquired a majority share in the firm. ‘It’s too_early to comment as we are_still in the procedure of knowing one another’s firms and markets. Nonetheless, we need to improve our paper_ stationary business via Kokuyo Co,’ Camlin Chairman and Managing Director Dilip Dandekar mentioned on the side lines of an event.

Camlin will improve its international footprints via Kokuyo Co as well as increase its product_portfolio in art and writing_equipments in international markets, he explained. Kokuyo purchased 50.3% share in Camlin for Rs366 cr recently.
