Shares of Colgate-Palmolive (India) rose by 5pct

Shares of Colgate-Palmolive (India) rose by 5pct , hitting the day’s high of Rs975, after the company said that the board will consider issue of bonus stocks at the appropriate time.

As regards to the issue of_bonus shares, the chairman said that the board would consider issue of bonus shares at the correct time,’ the FMCG firm mentioned in the annual general_board meeting.

The firm has common reserves of Rs250 cr on equity capital of Rs13.60 cr as on 31 March, 2011. Previous time, in 1993, the firm had issued bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1.
