RIL 4th-generation (4G) wireless broadband internet services

Reliance Industries Limited ( RIL) ideas to provide 4th-generation (4G) wireless broadband internet services all over India by mid-2012, and also a range of tablet pc’s for various revenue groups, according to information.

The firm is also in speaks with some firms to offer broadband-enabled content and services which is planning to tie up with Walt Disney Co.

Reliance’s rollout of their broadband internet services comes following it settled about Rs48 bn to purchase 95percent of Infotel Broadband in June last yr, marking its re-entry in to the telecommunications sector. Infotel won a govt auction of radio waves to provide wire less broadband solutions all over India.
