Ranbaxy Laboratories is in speaks with Ind-Swift Labs

Indian medicine manufacturer Ranbaxy Laboratories is in speaks with Ind-Swift Labs to source ingredient to produce a generic version of Pfizer Inc.’s (PFE) Lipitor blood cholesterol medicine.

Ind-Swift vice chairman N. R. Munjal stated that the firm is talking about various choices to deliver intermediate or final active pharmaceutical raw materials atorvastatin to Ranbaxy.

Ranbaxy plans to release the cholesterol medicine in the United states. at the end of November, but regulatory and producing issues at the Indian firm have late FDA authorization for the medicine.
