ONGC Suggested Govt for a 2-for-1 Stock SplitONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corp) suggested-to the Govt for a 2-for-1 stock splits before a follow on share sale, RS Sharma(Chairman) informed reporters on Monday.

Oil and Natural Gas Corp says its prepared from its end for the FPO in the 4th quarter of this financial year. Although some information suggest this follow-on public offer possibly deferred to the next fiscal yr.

Govt hasn’t informed the firm of such move. Sharma mentioned that the firm has suggested towards the government a two for one share split to raise the retail investors in the follow-on public offer.
