NTPC-Simhadri thermal_power_station here’s set to achieve one more milestone

The NTPC-Simhadri thermal_power_station here’s set to achieve one more milestone, based on a press release. The unit 3 (500 MWs) of the 2nd step is prepared for commercial_operation and the Union_Power_Minister, Mr Sushil Kumar Shinde, will announce whole load commercial system of the unit at a function late noon.

The Union_Minister_of_State_for_Power, Mr K.C Venugopal, will also take part as the guest of honor on the event. The NTPC-Simhadri situated at Parawada in Visakhapatnam district has now 3 units (500MWs each) in operation then one more unit of 500 MWs will be prepared following the finishing of the development project.

It’s the most advanced project in the nation, with the good control and instrumentation methods, the release reported. The 3rd unit was connected with the Andhra Pradesh State_grid on 29 March and had reached total commercial load in 5 months period.
