Nokia Siemens Networks has received seventeen orders

Nokia Siemens NetworksTelecom devices manufacturer Nokia Siemens Networks has received seventeen orders for new long-term evolution (LTE) network equipment, with 6 clients of these even now unpublished, a spokesperson for the firm said on Tuesday.

Nokia Siemens is battling main competitors Ericsson as well as Huawei for that 1st orders for next-generation LTE (long-term evolution) networks — some thing they are able to use as a reference to acquire fresh orders.

Telecom providers were likely to invest billions of euros on Long Term Evolution networks as data traffic in present networks has exploded because of the surge in take-up of cell phone data cards.
