More Than 38 Lakh Subscribers Transformed Their Operator Utilizing Mobile Number PortabilityMore than 38 lakh subscribers have transformed their operator utilizing Mobile Number Portability from the time the facility was started in the nation on January 20.

Based on numbers presented by the TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India), the highest porting has occurred in Gujarat and Karnataka with around 3.65 lakh as well as 3.18 lakh mobile customers respectively changing their operators.

Even though the telecom regulator didn’t offer operator-specific numbers, Vodafone Essar and also Idea Cellular are some of the firms that have obtained the most. Based on industry sources, Vodafone has obtained more than 2 lakh subscribers because of Mobile Number Portability , followed by Idea Cellular having a net profit of 1.9 lakh customers. BhartiAirtel is in the 3rd spot with a net gain of more than 1.5 lakh.
