Larsen & Toubro sells 2.4 per cent stake in Satyam

Larsen & ToubroIndian engineering conglomerate L & T has sold 2.4 per cent stake in Mahindra in Sept, the outsourcer mentioned in a declaration to the stock exchange.

L&T increased 2.95 billion rupees ($66.3 million) through the stake sale and today keeps 2.16 per cent in Satyam.

It had last sold a 3rd of their holding in the outsourcer in Nov ’09 for around $66 million. Larsen & Toubro had built a twelve per cent holding in Satyam, however the growth of share funds following the takeover meant it kept 6.9 % in Mahindra Satyam.
