Indian stock markets were stuck in a tight range today

Following a sharp rally in the prior session, the Indian stock markets were stuck in a tight range today on account of absence of support from the international front. Acquiring was witnessed in oil & gas, IT, consumer durables, metal and power shares even though realty, FMCG and banking shares seen selling pressure. The_Sensex and the Nifty were hovering approximately 16300 as well as 4900 ranges respectively.
