India Thinks About Import Duty Cuts

Import DutyIndia is concerned regarding higher global commodity as well as oil prices and will think about reducing import duties on much more food products to control inflation gripping Asia’s 3rd-largest economy, Minister of Trade Anand Sharma mentioned.

India is previously permitting dutyfree imports of crude-vegetable oils and also is planning to continue to do so as food price increases continue in the double digits, a worry which has caused international fund managers to drag out of the country’s stocks.
