Hindustan Media Ventures ipo-initial public offering

Hindustan Media Ventures Leading print media company ‘Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd’ announced its initial public offering (IPO) open Jul-05.and would remain open for subscription till Jul-07-2010. The company raise nearly Rs 300 crore-through the IPO issue. The price band of the issue is Rs.162 (lower level) to Rs.175 (higher level).

Hindustan Media Ventures (Readership of around 90 lacks readers Source: IRS, R2 2009) is one of the leading print media company in India. They publish ‘Hindustan’, the third largest daily newspaper in India. Hindustan are one of the fastest growing Hindi newspapers(Bihar , Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand) in India.
Upgrading existing plant and machinery; Setting up new publishing units are the main object of the company.
