FPO Of Power Grid Open On November 9

India largest interstate transmission firm PowerGrid Corporation is scheduled to hit capital markets once again with a FPO on Nov 9, 2010 and purposes to increase Rs 8,000 cr via follow-on offer,

The company Board of Directors meeting held on Oct 20, 2010, has accepted the RHP (red herring prospectus) for FPO of the firm. The subscription for follow on offer is going to be opening on Nov 09, 2010 although closing for retail and NonI nstitutional bidders Nov 12, 2010. and for QIB bidders on November 11, 2010

The firm had increased around Rs 3,000 cr through IPO in Oct, 2007, where the govt had divested 5percent stake in the firm.
