Central Bank of India today started a great plan providing to double depositors’ cash in 7-and-a-half yrs. The plan christened ‘Cent Double’, will provide an annualised yield of 13.33 percent and is applicable between 1st September and 31st December, a report released here by the bank mentioned.
For senior citizens, the annualised yield stands at a greater 14.93 percent and the cash will dual in 7 yrs and 3 months, it included. For the metros and urban centres, the very least deposit to be made beneath the plan is Rs 10,000, while for semi-urban and rural centres it is Rs 5,000, it mentioned, adding that the highest sum which can be invested is lower than Rs1 cr.
