Bharti-Airtel, marginally increased its share in the firm to 45.52percent through open market

Bharti Telecommunications, a founder firm of India’s Bharti-Airtel, marginally increased its share in the firm to 45.52percent through open market buys the previous week, regulatory filings showed on Tuesday.

Bharti Telecommunications, which held about 45.50percent in the firm, bought about 774,909 Bharti-Airtel stocks in separate exchanges in the range of Rs 375 to Rs 383 each. The exchanges were executed through Barclays Securities India Pvt. Ltd., the filing showed. Bharti-Airtel is India’s biggest cell phone operator by subscriber base.
