Bharat Heavy Electricals Reports It Bagged An Order Value Rs 3,220 cr Thermal Power ProjectPower equipment producer BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals ) reports it bagged an order value Rs 3,220 cr associated with a thermal-power project in WestBengal.

The order is for offer and installing of the primary plant package for that Sagardighi-Thermal Power-Project Stage-II in West Bengal. The venture has 2 units of 500 MW every.

In a report yesterday, Bharat Heavy Electricals said the order is valued at Rs 3,220 cr and it has been put through the WBPDCL (West Bengal Power Development Corporation Ltd).

For this agreement, “Bharat Heavy Electricals” work would come with engineering, design, supply, manufacture, erection as well as commissioning of steam turbines, boilers and generators.

The firm would also be liable for Controls and Instrumentation (C&I), Switchyard and civil works for the major plant package.
