The interest rate on deposits of below cr having maturity of 1 year to 3 years has been hiked to 9.25percent (9percent) and on deposits having maturity of more than 3 years to 5 years it has been hiked 9percent(8.5percent).

On tax saving plans for 5 years the rate has been raised to 9percent (8.5percent).
