Asian Paints placed a decline of 3 per cent in its net gain at Rs 171.43 crore

Asian Paints placed a decline of 3 per cent in its net gain at Rs 171.43 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2011 when compared to the corresponding quarter in the prior financial.

The company had a net gain of Rs 177.04 crore in the quarter closed March 31, 2010, Asian Paints mentioned in a filing to the BSE

At 10.15 a.m., stocks of Asian Paints, which were dealing positive ahead of the news, were down 0.99 percent.

The stock was at Rs 2668 on the BSE . It touched a high of Rs 2669.90 and lower of Rs 2649 in deal up to now.
