Alfa Laval highly developed by 18percent and hitted the 52-week high of Rs 2,318.50, as the firm will intends to delist stocks from Bombay Stock Exchange & National Stock Exchange. So far, 0.11 lakh stocks have exchanged on the Bombay Stock Exchange as against the couple of week avg volume of 0.03 lakh stocks.

Alfa Laval (India) mentioned that it was intending to delist stocks from the trades and the idea would be talked about at firm’s board meeting today (19 September, 2011).
The firm, whose promoter is Sweden based Alfa Laval Corporate AB, provides heat transfer, splitting up and fluid handling technologies.The Swedish company has decided to look for a voluntary delisting of Alfa Laval (India) stocks from the BSE and the NSE.

In a regulatory filing, Alfa Laval (India) mentioned the promoter company would make a delisting provide to acquire up to 2,040,202 stocks, accounting for 11.23percent share in the domestic company.
A meeting of the board has been planned today, to think about and choose the delisting idea and matters_incidental thereto, the filing noted. Presently, the promoter firm holds 88.77percent share in Alfa Laval (India).
